Finally its starting to feel like spring!
Living in Georgia you can never predict the weather. One day it'll be beautiful and 70 degrees and the next day it'll be raining and 50 degrees. I love cold weather, but I'm ready for warmer days and laying out by the pool.
Summer is just around the corner and I'm pumped, well kind of..
In less than a month I'll be a college grad!!
Exciting, yes!
Scary, oh yeah!
I'm so excited that I'll be graduating from one of the top public schools in the country. My decision to transfer to UGA two years ago was one of the best choices I made. I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't a little uneasy about the future.
I'm so glad that I have such supporting parents that have allowed me to pursue my passion and get a Fashion Merchandising degree, but I'm still not sure what I want to do.
The Fashion industry is a billion dollar industry and offers thousands of job opportunities all over the world. I should be able to figure it out, right? Well, thats the problem there's so much I can do with this major it's almost overwhelming all the options I have and I'm not sure where I want to end up.
I've learned we can't control our lives and that there's someone greater than us who has control. As hard as it is to take the passenger sit in our own lives we just need to know that the Lord will take us where he knows we should be.
Yes, I'm unemployed and I have nothing set in stone for when I graduate in May, but I know if I trust in him and don't worry he will place me where I belong.
On a Fashion note, here are some spring inspired outfits I'm excited to brake out of my closet!
Outfit 1
This dress was something I don't normally buy because I felt the bullhead pattern was too out there for me. When I saw this dress that all changed. LOL.
This dress is from Entourage and I bought it during last spring. I do feel this fad has hit its peak and is declining in popularity, but I still like the dress so I'm going to wear it. Plus, it's easy to wear and it's not too short.
Entourage no longer has this dress or anything with this pattern. Dress Up has a romper on sale with the bullhead print.
I really wasn't able to find much with this pattern.
These Steve Madden shoes are my favorite transition booties. They're great for both Spring and Fall. They are also very durable and have a chunky heel, so walking in them is easy. I found them at Off Broadway Shoes and they always seem to have similar styles of the open-toe booties.
The bag I found at Marshalle's for under $15. It's the size of a wallet and it has a spot that holds your phone perfectly.
Outfit 2
I'm going to be honest, I wasn't sure how I felt about this outfit, but I still thought it was cute. LOL. That's the constant struggle I have with myself every morning. I think the outfit is cute, but then a part of me thinks something is off about it... What do ya'll think?
This shirt is super light weight and has the cute bell sleeves. It's very Spring in my opinion. I got it at Entourage, but they don't have this top anymore. They do have a good amount of other tops with the bell sleeves.
There is also a top from Target that has the bell sleeves. Since the bell sleeves are still very trendy you can almost find similar tops almost every where.
I wasn't sure how I felt about the top with these jeans because of the bleach stains, but I liked the light wash denim with the top. You can pair this top with some cute bell bottom jeans and wedges as well.
Outfit 3
This outfit is all about the skirt! I just got this distressed denim skirt from Dress Up and I love it!
Of course, they don't have this skirt online anymore, but they might have a few in stores.
They do have one that looks similar, but it doesn't have the buttons. You can find it here.
They also have a denim skirt that has both light and dark denim patch work on it. I really want to get this skirt! you can find it here.
This top is From Altar'D State and It is one of my favorite tops. This cut is pretty popular and I've seen it in most boutiques.
I love pairing this top with these Lucky Brand sandals.
Also, the necklaces are from American Eagle. They always have jewelry for sale online.
Outfit 4
This outfit I throw together because I was so excited when I got this top.
I got this shirt from EVEREVE when we were out in Colorado. I've never herd of this store, but they had some really cute clothes and the worker were so nice!
I got the necklaces from EVEREVE as while and I got both on such a good sale, they were 70% off!
I hope this nice spring weather stays awhile before summer comes. I'm probably going to jinx it and it's going to snow next week... You got to love Georgia weather.
Hopefully that doesn't happen and I hope this post helped inspire you to brake out some of your favorite spring clothes.
